Albert Chain with Dog Clip Clasp
The Albert chain style was a Victorian era chain mostly used by men. The chain went to a T-bar finding that tucked into a buttoned buttonhole of the waistcoat. From there a further small length of chain hung, to which the wearer attached decorative charms or pocket watches. This style has recently been revived as a collector's item among the vintage collectors community. Necklace measures 17, or 18 inches long. 3.9 mm width approximately. Dog clip extender, 1.5” length. T-bar extender, 1” length.
